Orléans
Players recruit a diverse following—farmers, merchants, knights, craftsmen, scholars and monks—and deploy them to develop influence across medieval France. Workers provide resources (money, goods, tools), expand action options, build trading stations, advance science, open new locations and protect against misfortune. Gameplay focuses on assembling and allocating these followers, managing goods and actions, and pursuing multiple paths to supremacy through trade, construction and technological progress.

Garfield7.0 #WorkerPlacement I like the bag mechanic. Unfortunately it's a solitaire game. Components in this standard version are really not very good. You can play simultaneously which leads sometimes to confusions, but if you don't, the game takes much too long. Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
When do my followers return to my bag — after I place them on a Place, after I use the action, or at the end of the round?
After you play an action, remove the Followers used for that action and put them back into your bag; if you placed tiles to activate a Place but didn't use the action this round, leave them on the Place (they remain activated for future rounds). (p. 5)
Can Monks be used as any other follower, and can Technology Tiles replace Monks?
Monks may be used in place of any other Character Tile, but the inverse is not true — you cannot use other tiles or Technology Tiles in place of a Monk, and Technology Tiles may never replace Monks. (p. 7; p. 6)
Do Technology Tiles get removed after use or can I move them later?
Technology Tiles remain on the Action Space where you placed them for the rest of the game (they are not removed after use); the first Technology you place must replace a Farmer and there are limits such as not placing more than one Technology at the same Place and not placing them on single-tile Places. (p. 5; p. 6)
When Pilgrimage is drawn, can I still recruit Monks this round and when is that event resolved?
When Pilgrimage appears you may not recruit Monks that round, and unlike other events it is resolved during the Actions Phase (Phase 5), not in the Event Phase. (p. 10)
If I can't pay during Harvest or Taxes, what can I give instead of coins?
If you cannot pay you must undergo Torture (bankruptcy) and may replace missing coins with items from the specified list: Trading Stations, Followers, Development Points, Goods Tiles, Place Tiles, or Technology Tiles; all items given this way are removed from the game. (p. 10–11)
Can I build a Trading Station in a town that already has one, and are there special rules for Orléans?
You may not build a Trading Station in a town that already has one (regardless of owner), except that in the Orléans town each player may build one Trading Station as an exception. (p. 8)
