Pixies
Move through the seasons to encounter small creatures emerging from flowers or hiding in tree hollows. Choose one of the revealed cards and place it in your tableau according to its number, while monitoring which cards remain available to opponents. Stack cards to validate them and score points at the end of each round; additional points come from the largest color zones and spiral patterns in a player’s area.

Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
If I draw a card whose number is already faceup in my area, where does it go?
Choose which of the two cards to keep faceup; flip the other facedown and tuck it underneath, leaving it partly visible. If the faceup card is already validated, instead place the new card facedown on any empty space. (Rulebook, p. 1)
What does it mean for a card to be validated, and can I still play after that?
A faceup card placed over a facedown card is validated and scores its number, but you can’t play any more cards in your area for that round. (Rulebook, p. 1)
Do facedown cards count toward the round ending or my score?
A round ends after a turn when a player has filled all 9 spaces, whether the cards are faceup or facedown. Facedown cards don’t score; only validated cards score their number. (Rulebook, p. 1)
Do unvalidated faceup cards count for symbols and color zones?
Yes. All faceup cards count for symbol effects and for your largest color zone, whether validated or not. (Rulebook, p. 1)
Do diagonal cards count as part of the same color zone?
No. A color zone needs at least 2 same-color cards touching along a side; diagonals don’t count. Only your largest zone scores, at 2, 3, or 4 points per card in rounds 1, 2, and 3, respectively. (Rulebook, p. 1)
What’s different about turns in a two-player game?
Reveal 4 cards, then players alternate choosing and placing cards until all 4 are taken, so each player plays twice per turn. If one player fills their area before the other has taken the same number of turns, the other player still places one more card before the round ends. (Rulebook, p. 1)
