Quick Chess

A compact chess variant played on a 6×5 board with a reduced set of pieces: five pawns and one each of king, queen, bishop, knight, and rook per side. Players alternate standard chess moves, developing pieces, contesting the center, and seeking checkmate with fewer resources and less space. With a smaller board and fewer pieces, games resolve more quickly and emphasize tactical awareness and piece coordination in a condensed setting.
