2003 · Abstract Strategy
YINSH
Players each place five rings on the board and take turns sliding a ring along a line. Each moved ring leaves a two-sided marker beneath it; markers flip color when jumped over by rings, so board colors change constantly. Players aim to create a contiguous row of five markers showing their color. When a row is achieved, the player removes one of their rings from the board. The first player to remove three rings wins, balancing the benefit of scoring rows against the loss of rings to maneuver.
