2016 · Territory Building
Railways and Canals
In 1830 Devon, canal companies, railway companies, and independent investors compete to control the region’s passenger and goods transportation. Players build a modular board of canals and railways from their tile supplies, placing connections and using their own or outsourced workers. When four tiles surround a gap, the player with the most connections pointing toward it scores a victory point, including connections aligned through the board. The game ends when all tiles have been placed, and the player with the most points wins. Outsourcing provides additional support but may make the external company unavailable if used too often.
