2023 · City Building
Rebuilding Seattle
Players act as city planners rebuilding a neighborhood after a major fire, managing population growth, money, and zoning over a series of rounds. Each turn a player can build a new structure, expand into a suburb tile, activate a citywide event, or construct a landmark, then collect profit from neighborhood commerce. Buildings are purchased from a shared market and placed to fit a personal grid; upgrades, laws, and event effects alter scoring and available actions. Suburb tiles connect flexibly to the grid to create unique layouts. Endgame scoring rewards building types, upgrades, landmarks, events, and remaining cash. A solo deck simulates an opponent for solo play.

Kush7.2 Beast of table hog and set up for the game it is. If I end up owning it, will have to think up better ways to organize the game on the table and in the box (it is THAT onerous)...the gameplay itself is quick, fun with really challenging choices. Really want to play more!
Taha Afyouni8.5 What a pleasant surprise! If you like polyomino games, I would strongly recommend this one.
