Remember the Alamo! San Jacinto April 20-21, 1836

A conflict simulation of the April 1836 battle between General Santa Anna’s Mexican forces and the Texian army under Sam Houston. The game covers two battle days, each divided into twelve turns, which can be played together or separately. Company-level units and individual artillery pieces maneuver across a map featuring roads, ridges, swamps, woods, and bayous. Players resolve fire, defensive fire, charges, and assaults, while disruption and morale affect unit performance and rallying. Texian units activate on the first day, while Mexican units activate on the second. Additional scenarios explore alternative events, including fighting for the ridge line and a possible third day. The game supports two players or solitaire play.
