Resistor_
RESISTOR_ is a fast, fun, and intense two-player competitive card game in which you play as one of two supercomputers in charge of your country's global thermonuclear warheads. Through the manipulation of double-sided cards on the table and in your hand, you create a line that is either red (for DEEP RED) or blue (for BLU9000) that goes across the board into your enemy's base. Each player gets three actions and must take all three before the turn is over. Toss in some Resistor cards, either strategically or to introduce some chaos. The first person to get their enemy up to DEFCON 5 wins!

Evan3.5 This is a 2 player game where you have a line of circuit board looking cards, and you try to manipulate the connections so that you have a line of your color connected between you and your opponent. The goal is to hit them four times to win. The game is quite clever. The actions you take in a round are represented by cards that you flip to your opponent's color to show you've used them. The cards are double sided, where you only get to see one side and your opponent gets to see the other, and you can play and manipulate each other's hands. The game box even turns into a nifty game component that you draw your cards from. I liked this game, but it does rely on having some memory to retain what's on the reverse side of cards you've flipped, and honestly that's not me. I don't get nearly enough sleep to be able to remember even so much as what's on the reverse side of three or four cards. I also don't get much 2 player time, so while this game isn't a good fit for me, I have to commend it for being really well designed and clever. :star: Art, Iconography and components functional :star: Clever or interesting mechanisms :star: Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players :nostar: Multiple plays stay interesting :star: Low or mitigatable luck elements :star::nostar::nostar::nostar::nostar: Raw enjoyment
moses4.3 This was an interesting concept 2 player game I was able to get for cheap. It just didn't differentiate itself enough to keep it around or make us want to play it more.
