Card Game
See Sek
A traditional Chinese playing-card deck used primarily for rummy-style games. Its 112 elongated cards are divided into four suits—red, white, green, and yellow—with each suit containing four copies of the seven types of Chinese chess pieces. Games played with the deck typically involve forming melds of matching pieces, sets in different colors, single General cards, or same-color sequences based on the depicted piece groups. These games are associated particularly with Hokkien and Teochew communities in Singapore and Malaysia.
