Snap

1997 · Card Game

Snap

A 60-card game uses four colored suits, with values from 1 to 15 shown on both sides. During the cool phase, players draw and discard in turn, keeping the discarded card higher than the one drawn, until a player calls “Snap” with a seven-card hand. The hot phase follows, with players placing cards one at a time onto the discard pile. When two consecutive cards share a color, that suit becomes the winning suit. Players score cards of that color in their own hands, along with matching values in other players’ hands, excluding cards valued 10 or higher. After a number of rounds, the highest total score wins.
