Players embody classic movie monsters unleashed into a storm-damaged theater, competing to scare and consume moviegoers for points. Each player controls one of twenty unique monster characters with an individual board that explains its abilities; turns follow a simple sequence of play that commonly includes playing cards, adding guests to the theater, moving, spooking, devouring, and activating monster-specific powers. The game runs over rounds until a player reaches the target point total or the ticket supply runs out; remaining ticket values are scored at the end and the highest total wins.
