The Battle for Normandy
A battalion-level simulation of the Normandy campaign from D-Day through early August 1944, presented for two players or teams. Players deploy beach defenses, allocate daily air support and AAA secretly, and resolve the initial airdrop and beach-assault phases using a company-level fire-combat system before shifting to an odds-based combat approach for the remainder of the campaign. Numerous scenarios recreate specific actions such as Omaha, Epsom, Cobra and the fight for Cherbourg, while a full campaign links them across five large maps. Components include extensive counters, scenario and rule books, record tracks and allocation logs to support detailed orders of battle and campaign play.
