The Battle of the Little Bighorn

A historical wargame depicting the 1876 battle between the 7th United States Cavalry and a combined force of Plains Indian tribes. Players command American cavalry, infantry, artillery, and Gatling guns, or the Sioux and Cheyenne forces, managing movement, combat, and the defense or capture of the Indian village. Scenarios cover the historical battle and alternate situations involving the Montana column, the relocation of the village, the arrival or delay of reinforcements, and the assignment of Gatling guns or the 2nd Cavalry to Custer’s force. Expanded maps represent the wider campaign and additional tactical possibilities.
