Tower Chess
Chess played on a 6x6 grid with fewer pawns and no knights. Instead of removing captured pieces, players stack pieces on top of one another, including their own. Only the top piece of a stack can move, while covered pieces become available again when the pieces above them leave. The game ends when a player places a piece on top of the opposing king.
