2018 · Card Game
Trappist One
Players take the roles of leaders of Earth's hybrid mega-corporations competing to colonize and control the planets of the Trappist-1 system. Each player manages a personal player board of planetary slots, plays factory and infrastructure cards to produce coins and resources, and fills planets to trigger special abilities and increase hand size. Coins buy cards from a central market that includes factories, orbital stations, carrier ships and workers; carrier ships draw cards based on built factories and orbital stations grant permanent powers without occupying planetary space. Gameplay revolves around engine-building, resource flow and card management until a deck depletion condition ends the game and victory points determine the winner.
