Outlive
Players manage a small clan struggling to survive in a post‑apocalyptic world over six game days. Each day phase sends four heroes with varying strength to move on a shared board, gather resources, and compete for limited items and events. Each night phase uses collected resources to feed survivors, recruit new members, upgrade shelter rooms and equipment, and resolve interaction effects. Movement and gathering are governed by heroes’ strength, and player actions must balance daytime scavenging with nighttime settlement management.

Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
Do I have to pay the full Supplies cost for a Room if it has only one Survivor in it (not filled)?
Yes — if a Room contains at least one Survivor you must pay the full Supplies cost printed on the Room each Night, even if the Room isn’t filled to capacity (page 6).
Can I lower my Shelter’s Radioactivity by having extra Survivors in the Airlock or by finding algae?
Each Survivor in the Airlock prevents 1 point of Radioactivity, but having more Survivors than the current radiation level will not lower it; Algae Capsules (found in Cities) or harvesting the Anti-Radiation Algae at the Military Base each lower your Radioactivity by 1 when used (pages 6 and 5).
When I hunt, how many Action Points and Munitions can I spend — can I overspend munitions?
Hunting costs Action Points equal to the Wild Game’s Endurance (red number), and you may spend Munitions to reduce that Endurance by 1 per Munitions, but you may never spend more Munitions than the animal’s Endurance (page 5).
If I place a Hero on the Cargo Ship, can I take the Survivor even if my Airlock is full?
Yes — the Cargo Ship grants a Survivor directly and you may place that Survivor into a free space in any already Built Room instead of the Airlock, so you can take the Survivor even if the Airlock is full as long as you have an available Built Room space (page 5).
Can I use an Equipment tile the moment I salvage it in a City?
No — salvaged Equipment is always broken when taken and must be Repaired by paying its cost before its ability is usable; repaired Equipment then provides its effect and scores 1 Survival Point at game end (pages 5 and 6).
Does a Hero have to move on his turn and can he move two spaces?
Yes — if a Hero can move it must move and must end on a different Location, and a Hero may move up to 2 Locations following the arrows on the board (the five movement rules, page 9).
