Abbates
The abbots of old gather at Bornem Abbey to collect prestigious stained-glass windows, precious artefacts and ancient manuscripts. Players move their abbot figures around a dynamic 3×3 grid, selecting rows and columns to acquire cards and assemble collections according to scoring patterns. Abbot cards allow sequences based on the Rule of Saint Benedict and can award bonus cards. Points are gained for collections, while players must also minimize discrepancies between the Cistercian Chapter values on their played and collected cards.
