Tycoon
Players act as international businessmen traveling between nine major cities to build hotels and factories and earn money. Movement uses purchasable plane tickets: scheduled flights move to specific cities or across board spaces, while cheaper charter flights link two printed cities; players may buy and play multiple tickets each turn but must resolve movement before taking regular actions. Regular actions let players place hotels on a u-shaped city track and build up to two factories per city. Hotels on red spaces eject the oldest building on that track, and only the players with first and second most hotels on a track score (ties broken by earliest building). Factories score based on the hotel second-place value. Players can also take loans to skip actions and return to the board by scheduled flights. Rounds replenish players’ hotel supply; scoring triggers when a player uses all hotels in front of them, and the game ends after three scorings. The highest money total wins.
