Notre Dame

Players are heads of influential Parisian families competing to increase prestige in the boroughs surrounding the cathedral in late 14th-century Paris. Each round, players play action cards to place or upgrade buildings, influence markets, and move citizens, choosing between competing priorities; neglected boroughs suffer penalties as plague and unrest spread. The game runs a fixed number of rounds and scores prestige based on buildings, influence, and the health of the population. Strategic card selection and timing determine who finishes with the most prestige.

Mechanics work well, but very, very themeless. Easy to learn and plays fast.

Great Mid-Eurogame from Feld with cool mechanics of Draft and Set Collection
