Wooden Ships & Iron Men
Simulates tactical naval combat during the Age of Sail using hexes and counters. Players command squadrons of period sailing warships, position them in lines, maneuver on a hex‑grid ocean map, and resolve movement and gunfire with ship counters that occupy two hexes. Scenario booklets present historical engagements of varying size, from small actions to full fleet battles, and include the rules for wind, turning, and combat damage.
