World War I: Deluxe Edition

Strategic simulation of the entire Great War, in a detailed but manageable package. The map covers Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East, with terrain, cities, railroads, cultural sites, and sea zones. Players command field armies across six-month turns, using movement and attack phases to conduct campaigns. Mobilization Points fund new units, replace combat losses, and enable additional activity in selected sectors, while diplomacy can bring neutral nations into the conflict. The main scenario covers 1914–1918 in ten turns, with shorter scenarios for the opening and final phases, plus options for free setup and a 1919 extension. Victory comes through capturing essential locations or exhausting an opponent’s mobilization resources.
