A Victory Complete: The Battle of Tannenberg, 1914

A historical wargame covering the battles of Tannenberg and the Masurian Lakes in East Prussia during August and September 1914. Players command German and Russian forces at brigade-to-army scale, with each turn representing two days and each hex covering 10 kilometers. A chit-pull system, low unit density, and command-and-control rules emphasize local superiority, maneuver, timing, defensive balance, and lines of supply. Germany must use limited forces and coordinate decisive movements, while Russia presses its numerical advantage and advances into East Prussia. The game includes a 22 x 34-inch map, counters, and a 12-page rulebook.
