A Week In Hell: The Battle of Hue

A solitaire platoon-level wargame that recreates US Marine operations in downtown Hue during January 31–February 6, 1968. Players deploy Marine companies from off-board, advance through a city map, and attempt to secure most sectors while linking up with friendly forces holding the northern edge. Play is structured into seven day-turns, each resolved through a sequence of ten phases. Units may either move or fight; combat outcomes and urban clearing require a defeated enemy to be held for an additional turn to complete “mop up.”
