French Toast

French Toast is a board game for 2–10 players. It plays in 5–10 minutes and is meant for ages 6 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 6. It is rated 7,5 out of 10 by 1 Ludoya reviewers. The cheapest copy in stock is 82,43 RON (România).

One player secretly picks a target word and becomes the Toastmaster, while the rest try to discover that word through a limited series of guesses. The Toastmaster never gives direct feedback; instead they repeat back whichever guess is currently “closest” to the secret according to a criterion they choose. When a new guess is closer, the Toastmaster repeats that new guess; when it isn’t, they repeat the previous closest guess. Players have a fixed number of rounds to make successive guesses and infer the Toastmaster’s closeness rule to reach the secret word.
