Gallia Cisalpina

In 396 BC, Celtic and Roman forces compete for control of the lands south of the Alps. Twelve cards form the landscape, with enemy troops represented by dice and defences protecting occupied areas, agriculture, and supplies. On each turn, players have three opportunities to recruit up to three warriors at their capital, build or destroy defences by reversing cards and converting warriors into pawns, and move troops to attack opposing forces. The straightforward rules make this a tactical game suitable for casual players and newcomers to the genre.
