Joan of Arc

A multiplayer wargame set during the Hundred Years’ War, as England, France, and rival factions contest control of the French throne. Players expand across provinces, control cities for revenue, and influence the political decision to pursue war or peace. Cities provide funds for fortifications and Battle Cards, which combine numerical and special effects with Influence, fortifications, and die rolls to resolve combat. Events and foreign interventions affect each turn, while sieges, shifting alliances, famine, plague, and marauding companies complicate campaigns. After eight to ten turns, the player with the most Pretender Points, earned from controlled provinces, wins.
