No Question of Surrender: The Battle for Bir Hacheim

A company-level tactical wargame set in the North African campaign, recreating the Free French defence of an isolated strongpoint against German and Italian forces in 1942. Players command company-sized units on a hex map with two-hour turns and 364-yard hexes, managing infantry, armor and support as attackers build up strength and defenders attempt to hold key positions. Scenarios cover specific actions such as the Italian Ariete Division attacks, the contested fight for an observation point, and the full siege beginning in early June. The game uses the Grand Tactical Series rules with added terrain types and special rules to reflect events from the battle.
