Pedregal: Santa Anna at Bay

This historical wargame recreates Winfield Scott’s 1847 campaign against Santa Anna and the approach to Mexico City through the lakes and lava fields south of the capital. Players maneuver divided armies, seek routes through the Pedregal, and coordinate infantry, artillery, cavalry, leaders, and reserves. Combat reflects the strengths and vulnerabilities of each arm, with weakened units risking rout and cavalry specializing in pursuit. Protecting headquarters and supply lines is essential to maintaining mobility and combat power.
