Reif für die Insel: The Outlaws

A promo item for Reif für die Insel that adds 10 outlaw monkey tokens to your bag. Outlaw tokens are numbered 1-10. Play Reif für die Insel as described in the rulebook, but with the following changes: Set up Draw 10 banana tiles from the bag and lay them face up on the table as the outlaws’ hoard. Only include good bananas – black bananas, storm clouds, and parrots should be replaced and returned to the bag. Add the 10 numbered outlaws to the bag. Play Any outlaws the starting player draws from the bag at the start of a skirmish go beneath the next free space in the banana row, just like parrots. They form a group with the next banana to be drawn. Multiple outlaws and parrots can be in one group. Also like parrots, place the outlaws you win next to your island. The Feasting Phase At the very start of the feasting phase, before even the greedy parrots strike, the outlaws make their move. All players can trade their outlaws for bananas from the outlaws’ hoard. The highest-numbered outlaw goes first, followed by the rest in descending order. When it‘s your outlaw‘s turn, choose a banana from the outlaws’ hoard and place it next to your island. Then return your outlaw to the box. Alternatively, you can choose not to take a banana and instead save this for the next season. After resolving all the outlaws this way, the feasting phase resumes as usual. Bananas you grabbed from the hoard can be stolen by parrots or added to your points pile if ripe enough. If there are any bananas next to your island at the end of the feasting phase, place them on free spaces on your island. If you don’t have enough space, return bananas you don‘t want to the box – either from your board or beside it – until you‘re down to 5 in total.
