Savage Station

This historical wargame depicts the June 29, 1862, action at Savage’s Station during the Seven Days Battles of the American Civil War. Confederate forces pursue the withdrawing Union army and attack its rearguard near the station, while Union units attempt to delay the advance and escape across White Oak Swamp. The game uses a modified Blue & Gray system, with turns representing about one hour, hexes covering 300 yards, and units representing approximately 250 men. It includes a map, counters, and rules, and can be played solitaire or by multiple players in roughly one to two hours. A six-sided die is required.
