Sharknado: The Board Game!

A cooperative, scenario-based game for 1–4 players, set in a coastal city struck by a storm of man-eating sharks. Players take the roles of citizens who use weapons and equipment to fight shark swarms, maintain order, and complete scenario objectives. Scenarios may require the group to destroy a Sharknado, eliminate a set number of sharks, or survive for a specified time. The team loses if too many characters die or the scenario’s conditions are not met.

I never saw the movie, but I did play this at GenCon. Decent co-op survival game, would play again, backed on Kickstarter. Pro: No zombies, multiple scenarios for varied play, seemed balanced - we won but barely, has a Sharknado Con: Is co-op (not my favorite type of game)
