Stalin's Lost Chance

Finnish defense against the Soviet 8th Army in Karelia and around Lake Ladoga during the Winter War of 1939–40. The game covers the Soviet attempt to outflank the Mannerheim Line by advancing west along the roads north of Lake Ladoga. Players command Finnish companies and battalions, Soviet battalions and regiments, armored trains, and ad hoc groups across a map scaled at roughly 3.7 miles per hex, with each turn representing one week.
