Angola

A multiplayer operational wargame that recreates the 1975–1976 phase of the Angolan civil conflict and the competing Soviet- and US-backed factions. The map is area-based and counters represent formations and special weapons such as artillery, rockets, tanks, and aircraft. Players secretly commit to the order in which a limited number of their units will activate, then reveal and resolve activations in turn, producing tense mind games of timing and prediction. Victory points track control and objectives so that momentum can shift rapidly, rewarding tactical risk and timely responses.
