Antarctica (fan expansion for Ticket to Ride)

Players build routes across Antarctica, connecting remote research bases and attempting to complete destination tickets. The game follows the rules of Ticket to Ride: Europe, but removes stations and uses a tighter network with strong competition for the few available routes. Ferry routes are represented by Twin Otter aircraft, while crevasses function as tunnels. Uncompleted destination tickets are common, especially with five players. The player with the longest route that includes the South Pole receives the 10-point Amundsen Award. An optional set of carriage cards depicts vehicles used around the research site.
