BATTALIA: The Stormgates

This expansion adds components for two more players, increasing the player count to six, along with cooperative team play for shared strategies and partially simultaneous turns. Stormgates provide faster movement across the larger map and grant event bonuses to players who use them. New Kings and Queens cards strengthen decks and enable higher-level cities, while the official Heroic mode allows both heroes to attack simultaneously with increased morale bonuses. Two non-player characters also join the game: a wandering herbalist who sells powerful potions, and a changeling whose abilities and influence change with the terrain and affect heroes across the map.
