Bits of the Wilderness: Into the Wildwood

A system-neutral toolkit for describing fantasy forest journeys, this book provides short, atmospheric passages that can be inserted wherever a game needs more detail. Game Masters can place the entries in advance or generate them randomly during play. The collection includes 100 numbered description “Bits,” presented in both book and index-card formats, along with 75 additional entries covering locations, seasons, and weather. Multiple indexes help locate suitable material quickly. It also includes three forest menaces with introductions and 3.5 Edition statistics, plus an article on creating realistic, distinctive forests with quick-reference “Forest Kits” for their plants and animals.
