Buffalo Soldier

This six-page PDF provides background for the Black soldiers who served in the Ninth and Tenth Cavalry and several infantry regiments during the Indian Wars of the American frontier. It covers their service under white officers, conflicts with Indigenous peoples, frontier dangers, and the racism they faced. The material is designed to add historical depth to a d20 Modern campaign set in the Old West.
