Players take the roles of Aperture employees working amid unethical experiments, reality-bending technology, malfunctioning robots, and extra-dimensional threats. The game focuses on creating and navigating stories about flawed characters whose loyalty to the company, Science, or personal interests leads them into desperate and often morally dubious situations.
