Carcassonne: The Flying Machines

A small expansion adds eight wing-marked tiles to the base game that let meeples attempt aerial movement. When a wing tile is drawn and placed normally, the player may either place a follower on that tile or roll a die to send a new follower flying in the direction indicated by the wings for 1–3 spaces. If the targeted space contains a tile, the flying meeple may be placed on any unfinished, non-field feature there, even if that feature already has followers; if the space is empty or no eligible feature exists, no follower is placed.
