Котомания

Players try to place cards to predict how close their hand values will land to a cat token on a scoring track without going past it. Each round begins by revealing a card to set the cat’s position, then six item slots are arranged on the table. Players take turns playing one card beneath each item until every item has two cards; the pairwise sums form those items’ values. After play, each player totals the values of cards remaining in their hand and places their token on the track accordingly. The player(s) whose position is closest to the cat without passing win the round. Winners advance on a personal score card that also determines hand size for future rounds; the first player to win three rounds wins the game.
