A Call of Cthulhu setting for campaigns in ancient Rome, where Roman citizens confront political threats, secret cults, ancient mythology, and the horrors of the Cthulhu Mythos. The setting covers Rome and the wider Empire, including religion, magic, weapons, poisons, medicinal herbs, currency, occupations, tomes, and historical background. It includes 12 cults and secret societies, 41 creatures from ancient folklore and mythology, 21 occupations, five spells, a fold-out map of the Roman Empire, and two introductory scenarios, including one set in Palmyra. Requires the Call of Cthulhu rulebook to play.
