Day of Days: The Invasion of Normandy 1944

An SCS approach to the first ten days of the Normandy invasion, played at the company level. Allied forces must land, break away from the beaches, and advance into France, while Axis forces attempt to defeat the landings or contain them long enough to create a stalemate. The game covers the American, British, and Canadian beachheads, with campaigns and smaller scenarios focused on actions such as the airborne drops, Carentan, and Villers-Bocage. Turns represent half a day, with units ranging from platoons to battalions across 700-meter hexes.
