Players take on the roles of members of an intergalactic peacekeeping force whose Power Rings translate willpower into constructs and abilities. The expansion adds four missions and new scenarios that explore using ring-based powers in battles against a spreading, fear-inducing virus. Gameplay emphasizes teamwork and resource management as players build constructs, resist fear effects, and coordinate abilities across varied mission objectives. New mission designs change objectives and threats to highlight how ring powers alter tactics in both defensive and offensive encounters.
