Descent

The characters investigate Adam’s murder by fanatical apostate mages known as Banishers and uncover the entrance to the Obsidian Palace, an ancient Atlantean temple and repository of knowledge created by the Mysterium for Moros mages. Hidden beneath a mausoleum near the cabal’s hallow, the Palace offers dangerous discoveries and occult secrets. Adam’s goetic Pride-spirit also attempts to sabotage the investigation, forcing Morrigan and the cabal to confront the consequences of ambition and self-importance.
