Players awaken stranded in an unfamiliar wilderness and must scavenge for water, food, tools, and shelter while pursuing answers about how they arrived. The game mixes exploration, resource management, crafting, and event resolution as players move across modular terrain tiles, encounter locations and enemies, and play cards to gain items and abilities. Each copy contains a unique selection of tiles, characters, storylines, and components drawn from a shared pool, so the map, events, and available resources vary between sets. Play supports a mix of cooperation and competition, with optional rules to convert encounters into a fully cooperative experience.
