Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition for Dummies

A beginner-friendly guide to the fantasy roleplaying game, covering its terminology, rules, and etiquette. It explains how to create a character by choosing a race, class, powers, skills, feats, equipment, background, and personality. Players learn to use d20 rolls and modifiers for ability checks, saving throws, and challenges, then apply combat rules with a battle grid and miniatures. The guide also introduces dungeon exploration, monster encounters, treasure, and experience.
