The turn sequence is draw → play → return: you draw, then you may play a card and resolve its action, and then you may return any number of cards from your discard to your hand (played cards typically go to your discard unless stated otherwise). (p. 1)

You normally draw a card from the supply and then the supply is refilled from the deck, but if you don't like the supply you may instead draw the top card from the deck. (p. 1)

Played cards typically go to your discard pile unless the card explicitly says it remains in play; some cards do provide ongoing effects while they remain in play. (pp. 1–2)

When the deck is exhausted you continue play without refilling the supply until the end of the round, and the game ends after the player who started that round finishes their turn. (p. 1)

Players total influence from colonies, technology cards, and spoils; the highest total wins, and in case of a tie the player who played second wins. (p. 1)

Some cards show a spoils icon; when the defending card is defeated you place the spoils token on the planet, and those spoils provide additional benefits when scored or claimed. (p. 2)
