Guderian's Blitzkrieg II

Simulates the German Army Group Center’s campaign on the Eastern Front from October 1941 through the spring of 1943, covering Operation Typhoon, the first Soviet winter counteroffensive, later drives of Barbarossa, and preparations for Kursk. Players command battalion-to-army formations on a hex map (5 miles/8 km per hex) with half-week turns, maneuvering, attacking, and supplying forces while considering operational-level factors such as deception plans, alternate offensives toward Moscow or the south, and Soviet operational improvements. Multiple scenarios let players explore specific actions, including Operation Mars, across detailed maps and extensive counters and rules designed for the Operational Combat System.
