Hell's Highway: Operation Market Garden

An operational-level simulation of the September 1944 airborne campaign and the ground advance intended to link up with paratroopers deep in Holland. Players manage airborne drops, deploy paratrooper units to seize and hold roads and bridges, and maneuver armored and infantry formations along a congested highway as British XXX Corps attempts to break through to the isolated units. Movement, supply, and timing across large maps drive the play; combat and reinforcement options recreate the campaign’s confusion and operational dilemmas. Three scenarios and multiple deployment options let players recreate the historical sequence or explore alternate choices. Components include large connected maps and numerous half-inch counters; play is complex and can range from several hours to a full-day campaign.
