Set in a hidden plane of the internet, the game follows sprites living and working in a world founded around Hopetown. The story begins one year after its establishment, as the community faces major changes and the possibility of an apocalyptic conflict affecting both the sprite and human worlds. Despite its civilized appearance, the setting is populated by combatants shaped by years of play.
